SUMMER BALLET INTENSIVES
PREBALLET SUMMER WORKSHOP
A brand-new summer ballet program tailored just for young dancers 3 to 7. This workshop is a delightful one-week experience where children can dive into the world of ballet in a joyful environment. Parents are invited to join us for the last 15 minutes on the Fridays of the workshop for a short ballet demonstration. The ages will be broken up into two groups:
Group 1-Ages 3-5 - Instructor: Ella Shafer

JUNIOR BALLET INTENSIVE 1
Current AAB Ballet 1 Students and above, or by invitation or audition. Dancers participate in daily classes including ballet technique, repertoire, contemporary, and stretching. This intensive focuses on building a strong technical foundation while introducing students to AAB structure and syllabus.

JUNIOR BALLET INTENSIVE 2
Current AAB Ballet 2 Students and above, or by invitation or audition. Dancers participate in daily classes including ballet technique, repertoire, contemporary, and stretching. This intensive focuses on building a strong technical foundation while introducing students to AAB structure and syllabus.

NUTCRACKER BALLET INTENSIVE
AAB Ballet 1 students and above, or by invitation or audition. Dancers participate in daily ballet technique and Nutcracker repertoire classes in this focused intensive designed to kick off the Nutcracker season. This program also serves as the audition; students must be registered for the 2026-2027 school year by July 25th or their spot in the intensive will be forfeited.

SUMMER INTENSIVE PREP WEEK
Current AAB Ballet 5 students, or by audition. Dancers participate in daily classes including ballet technique, pointe, variations, contemporary, and conditioning. This week is a great jump start to summer - perfect for students preparing for our summer intensive, heading to company summer programs, or simply looking to stay in shape.

ABSC PREP WEEK
Designed for AAB Ballet 4 Students and above, or by audition. Required for both current and hopeful Aledo Ballet Studio Company dancers and trainees. This focused week prepares dancers for the upcoming season and serves as a Nutcracker and ABSC Company Audition. Participation does not guarantee company or trainee placement, and dancers must be registered for the 2026-2027 school year by July 25th to participate.
